The interest in motorhomes and vans came from my involvement of windsurfing. Sick of the routine of strapping boards and quiver bags to the roof of my car the obvious thing was to buy a van, to put all the kit in. From then it just seemed to make sense to make it so you could sleep and cook in it, so the option of converting it into a camper was the way forward. One thing led to another and here we are today. So that's how exploria started.

The great thing about the majority of our customers is that nearly all have an interest in a sport or hobby and their vehicle is a tool which helps them enjoy what they do. So it's no great surprise to hear that a lot of our customers are some of our best friends. It's these friends that I spend a lot of time with doing the things I enjoy whether it be windsurfing, snowboarding, motorbiking, mountain biking, wakeboarding, running etc. As you may guess, my spare time is usually taken up by some kind of sport, making the best of the outdoors.

From the age of ten I got involved in windsurfing and am still heavily involved today, travelling to some amazing places around the world to do what I love. When the wind doesn't blow we generally find some other activities to keep us occupied.
